Travelling with family in her teen years, whether in hotels, restaurants or to attractions, Sarah always found herself interested in what happened ‘behind the scenes’. This led her to study at the School of Hotel & Food Administration, University of Guelph.

Since then, Sarah has spent 29 years in the event industry. She has been an integral part of planning thousands of weddings, fundraising galas, intimate home parties, and many other successful and fun events. The evolution to party and event rentals is a natural fit for Sarah, and after a long walk in 2009, she chose her location, bought a building, went shopping for tents and party goods, and got to work! Her knowledge of what needs to happen ‘logistically’ to make an occasion a success, working with her clients’ expectations, and years of practical experience, give Sarah the ability to recommend great fits for individual event plans and budgets.

At the 2016 Ottawa Wedding Awards, Sarah was the recipient of the Tsirmpa Award. The Tsirmpa Award for community service recognizes the outstanding commitment and dedication by an individual in the wedding industry who volunteers both in and out of the industry, dedicating personal time to make a difference in the lives of others.
